I love the fact this toy is 3 in 1 because you get more than one use out of it. My 2yr old enjoys hitting the wack a mole side. However, she is too young to understand how to use the number size correctly because its like a puzzle, so besides her just moving it around she doesn't really know how to do it.
My daughter absolutely loves this toy.. as a 14 month old, her sitting with one toy for over 30 minutes is a huge success. The quality is great and the toy is simply wonderful.
Thus was a great toy for my 18 month old. He loves to bang things and he took to this immediately. It's a great distraction for him when I'm taking care of our 1 momth old. I'm addition, this product can handle him throwing it and won't break easily. I only wish we had thought of it sooner.
We love this toy! One of the toys baby comes back to again and again all day. took away the sticks it came with to play the xylophone. too pointy for her age. most likely will be able to give them to her when shes more coordinated and less likely to put her own eye out. She has a wooden kitchen spoon that does the job for now :)
My 2-year-old grandson loves hammering the whack-a-mole game! The moving numbers are a good challenge for his fine motor skills -- it's not easy for him yet, so we play it together, which is fun for me! The xylophone is a bit off-key to my adult ears, but he thinks it's a symphony and goes at it with a mallet in each little hand! I'm impressed by the construction of this toy and appreciate the smooth edges and fine crafting. I also appreciate that this toy is made of wood (not plastic) -- it's a pleasant nostalgic feeling for me, and a good solid toy for him.
